A number of years ago I was approached by a client who wanted to make an impact at the local MLB spring season came they were sponsoring.

I put my thinking cap on and along with the apartment community manager agreed to utilize HANDY FANS as a marketing tool.

Each individual who attended the baseball game in central Florida, in mid March, where some sort of cooling device, such as a fan to wave at your face is definitely needed, received a HANDY FAN when entering.  There were thousands of fans, waving these cardboard-on-a-paint-stick, personalized with the company logo, fans in an effort to stay cool. 

The apartment comunity not only received massive brand awareness, but also resulted in 6 or 7 NEW leases in the next couple of weeks, if my memory serves me correctly.

So, if you're participating in an outdoor event where the heat is going to play a factor, consider using HANDY FANS to grab everybody's attention and keep people cool.

I'm a fan of……(your name)
We're fans of (your name)

BTW, I remembered this fan campaign from a previous experience where a street fair was being conducted……and it was hot.  And hot in Florida……is hot.  Anyhow, the cable company distributing these handy fans at their booth had a waiting line!!
